National Targets for Research
BCHFT clinical trial performance is shown in the initiation and delivery of all clinical trials approved by the Trust. The Trust has to report key dates during the set-up of trials to the NIHR.
Initiation:
It should take no more than 70 days from receipt of valid research application (valid UK Local Information Pack) by the R&I Department to the recruitment of (ie consenting) the 1st patient into the trial.
Delivery:
For all commercial clinical trials hosted by the Trust the agreed number of patients must be recruited within the agreed recruitment period.
