An amber cold-health alert has been issued for the West Midlands via the UK Health Security Agency.
The amber alert (cold weather response) is in place from 9pm on 17 November to 9am on 21 November.
This stage requires specific actions from health and social services to reduce harm from cold weather.
Staff are reminded to consult the Trust’s Severe Weather Plan on the Business Continuity intranet page to help you look after yourself and others during this time.
Further guidance to assist professionals in protecting vulnerable people is set out in the Adverse Weather and Health Plan for England.
