IPS Employment and Recovery Wolverhampton drop-in event posterIndividuals looking for support to reach their employment goals are invited to a free drop-in event hosted by Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust’s (BCHFT) Employment and Recovery Services teams. The event, taking place on Tuesday 25 February 2025, will provide valuable insights and resources to help individuals on their journey to meaningful employment.

The event will start from 10am to 12.30pm and will be held at Urban Rooms, Queen Square in Wolverhampton.

The drop-in session will feature a range of stalls offering expert advice and tailored support, including:

  • IPS (Individual Placement and Support) – Helping individuals with mental health challenges secure and sustain employment.
  • Retention Support – Guidance on staying in work and managing workplace challenges.
  • Let’s Talk – Helping you to stay connected in the community by taking part in activities locally.
  • Talking Therapies – Access to employment advisors while being support by Black Country Healthcare’s Talking Therapies service.
  • Recovery College – Opportunities for learning, growth, and skill development for people who have an interest in, or personal difficulties with, mental health.
  • Work Well – Provides early intervention and holistic support to individuals with health conditions or disabilities, assisting them in returning to, remaining in, or finding employment.

This free event is open to anyone seeking guidance on employment, career development, and overall wellbeing. Attendees will have the chance to meet with employment recovery specialists who can provide personalised advice, resources or key signposting opportunities.

BCHFT has a strong record of successfully hosting similar employment and health events, interacting with over 600 residents across the Black Country in 2024 to help them on their journey to employment and recovery.
