Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHFT) is delighted to announce that after a national recruitment process Carolyn Green has been appointed permanently as Chief Nursing Officer for the Trust.
Since joining BCHFT on an interim basis in September 2023, Carolyn has made a positive impact in her role and has been meeting with colleagues and partners to contribute to key developments within the Trust and wider system.
Carolyn’s career journey in healthcare began as a mental health nurse in 1995 in South London, where she gained vital experience and made a tangible difference in the lives of her patients over 20 years.
Since then, she has demonstrated her commitment to learning and development, through working for a Masters in Health Service Management and sharing her skills and knowledge while serving as a Senior Lecturer and Visiting Fellow.
Carolyn is passionate about personalised care recovery principles and is dedicated to using technology and innovation to drive positive change and boost the experience of patients and spent the last 9 years in the East Midlands leading Children and Mental Health services.
