Give the gift of hope
To celebrate the brighter, longer days of spring and summer, we ran a poetry and photography competition on the theme of hope. The competition was open to all (service users, patients, carers, members of the public and staff) and judged by a panel of staff, governors and people with lived experience of mental health.
The judges are pleased to announce the winners of the competition:
- Photography - Vilma Jureviciute
- Poetry - Conor Hill
The judges were so impressed with the quality of entries that they also chose to select four more entries for a special mention. These are:
- Photography - Jeevan Beards and Phil Davies
- Poetry - Mary-Laura Peace and John Morris
They have also decided to publish their shortlisted entries. The winning entries, along with the special mention and shortlisted entries can be viewed below.
